Spotlight on Project GASTRO
One of the highlights of the event will be an introduction into Project GASTRO (Geothermal and Advanced Spectral Technology for Regional Optimisation of greenhouse crop production).
This Innovate UK-funded collaboration brings together the University of Lincoln, Pilkington NSG, and NFU Energy. The project is exploring the viability and management of geothermal heating for greenhouse production in the Lincoln area, alongside testing innovative glass with a novel NIR-reflective coating designed to improve efficiency.
