Falling temperatures cause price to rise
A combination of temperatures falling below seasonal norms, along with a gas pressure failure at a processing plant in Norway, caused gas prices to increase throughout last week. Strong wind levels on Monday provided the grid with 22% of its electricity requirements though, unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to prevent electricity prices from tracking gas upwards.
